You are required to obtain the correct tariff classification according to your cargo. Goods valued over $1000 AUD must be assessed and you will be required to pay import entry, processing costs, Customs, Import Duty and GST based on the total value of your goods.
Goods for import such as firearms, steroids and tobacco require a valid permit issued by the Department of Home Affairs. Duty and other taxes are still applicable.
